Lice in Schools/Camps
Should you require routine lice checks upon return from Spring, Summer and Winter break, or encounter lice outbreak at your school or camp, we would love to help. We offer same day appointments for on-site head checks, and mobile treatments (parents must authorize the treatment), and we will provide a detailed report for each child that is treated on-site along with proper instructions for parents to follow. A certificate of clearance will be issued for the children.
We also encourage school nurses, administrators and PTA/PTO representatives to contact us about our Preventative Educational Partnership Program to present the relevant facts about head lice, removal and prevention.

What is the District's policy regarding lice? Exclusion is warranted "when a student has the signs and symptoms of infestation (the most specific being the presence of a live louse)."Parents will be informed of the suspected infestation and the child will avoid any activity that involves head to head contact with other children or sharing of any head gear until they receive appropriate treatment. Readmission occurs after the child has received the proper treatment.
